Austin Halvorson is currently attending St. Mary's University School of Law's groundbreaking fully online J.D. program part-time. He also works as an executive assistant at a law firm full-time.
Previously, Austin worked in the highest levels of Texas politics and government including service as director of a Senate committee, a campaign manager, and a district director. His passion for career services came through resume reviews for various positions he was hiring for and helping other students succeed.
Austin held various jobs throughout college that required networking, interviewing individuals, and technical writing including time as a resume builder for high net worth individuals. He also interned in the United States House of Representatives and for a lobbying firm.
Outside of work and school, Austin is a member of the American Horse Council's Board of Trustees as its young adult trustee, serves on the American Quarter Horse Association's public policy committee, and volunteers at local rodeos.
He enjoys working on his Western History podcast, going to rodeos, golf, and morning runs with his dog, Amon.
Coy Allen Westbrook is a native of Kennard, Texas. He now lives in Austin, Texas. After graduating valedictorian of his class from Centerville-Groveton ISD, Coy attended Texas A&M University. He graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Agricultural Leadership and Development, a Certificate in International Trade and Agriculture, and minors in Poultry Science and International Development in Agriculture. While at Texas A&M, Coy was highly involved with SGA, Alpha Gamma Rho, and the College of Ag. Coy served as a Texas FFA State Vice President from the Area IX Association and represented more than 115,000 Texas FFA members. While at Texas A&M he served as a policy intern in the Washington D.C. Office of Congressman Kevin Brady, the then-Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means. Upon graduation from Texas A&M, Coy was the Legislative Director for State Representative Travis Clardy during the 86th Legislative Session. In these roles, he has conducted resume reviews for new employees, served friends and colleagues as their consultant and resume builder, and assisted in preparing for their job interviews at various levels of government
Coy graduated summa cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law in May 2022. While at St. Mary’s Coy was an Articles Editor on The St. Mary’s Law Journal, a state and nationally awarded oralist and brief writer for the St. Mary’s National Moot Court Team, and President of the Federalist Society. He served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Henry J. Bemporad, United States Magistrate Judge for the Western District of Texas, and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Patrick E. Higginbotham, Senior United States Circuit Judge for the Fifth Circuit. After graduation, Coy worked in the General Litigation Division of the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, where he assisted Assistant Attorneys General combat the arbitrary and capricious overreaches of the federal government.
Coy now serves as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Rebeca A. Huddle, Justice of the Supreme Court of Texas. In his free time, Coy enjoys volunteering and making his world a better place. He is a member of Sul Ross Lodge #1300, Alamo Lodge #44, and Eastern Star Lodge #284. He a member of the Calf Scramble Arena Committee at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Brock Murphy was raised on a ranch in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He grew up raising and competing on American Quarter horses, becoming the President of the American Quarter Horse Youth Association in 2016. In 2012, Brock launched his first company raising Texas longhorn cattle - turning a $1,500 investment into over $100,000 in just a few years. After graduating from Saxony Lutheran High School, Brock attended Texas A&M University, where he majored in Agricultural Economics.
While in college, Brock worked for the Texas A&M Equine Initiative and the Department of Agricultural Economics. During the summers, he interned on Capitol Hill and at the White House. Upon graduation, he went back full-time to the Office of Management and Budget at the White House. Brock's time in the White House provided him the opportunity to conduct resume reviews for some of the most ambitious and meritorious individuals in the country.
Shortly after leaving the government realm, Brock took a role at SpaceX in Brownsville, Texas. While at SpaceX, he spearheaded multiple projects across government relations, business development, projects on the launch pad, and hired over 30 interns during his time there. Brock went on to lead a team at Interstellar Lab in Paris, France and Houston, Texas as its Business Development Manager and Government Affairs Manager.
Officially in November 2022, Brock launched his own company, Parent ProTech, with two friends to help families and schools navigate technology to keep children safe. He is spearheading their national expansion now as its President and Operator.
